For two women, however, humor has helped them cope with their infertility experience, as well as serve as an outlet for creative expression. One has thought of 999 Reasons to Laugh at Infertility and the other has written a one-woman comedy show that she performs for audiences across the country.

Kathleen Puls Andrade has been an actor, improviser, voiceover, writer and teacher in Chicago for several years. In 2009 she premiered the original show Journey to the Center of the Uterus™: Adventures Infertility!, a poignant comedy based on her own roller coaster experiences.
